Maybe someone out there can use the information. Mathematicians, scientists, matrice specialists, astrologists, numerologists or even biologists? Who knows. I would like to hear your comments. If you perhaps know someone who might be interested, please send this address to them http://magicmatrix.blogspot.com

To form a matrix consisting of 4 numbers accross and 4 numbers down, that will ALWAYS add up to 9, across and down, spesific sequence or movement of numbering is used.

To explain the sequence we place the first four numbers on the top row and
the last 4 numbers underneath it.
1 2 3 4
8 7 6 5
[8 is the mirror number of 1; 7 of 2; 6 of 3 and 5 of 4. See explaination at mirror number blogspot shown above ]

The numbers 1,4,8 and 5 I call corner numbers and 2,3,7,6 centre numbers.

When the number set starts with say 1 the sequence will be 1 then 6 then 4 then 7 .
Therefore from a corner number(1) to the furthest centre number(6) to the next corner number(4) to the next centre number(7).
Say for instance the number set starts with a centre number like 6 the the sequence will be 6 then 1 then 7 then 4. Therefore from the centre number to the furthest corner number to remaining centre number to the last corner number.

So the sequences of movement of all numbers will be:
1647 : 2538 : 3825 : 4716 : 5283 : 6174 : 7461 : 8352. ***

If you get a 9 in a number set just replace it with another 9. Thus 9999

So to form the matrix that will add up, across and down to 9 just follow the above sequences:

Pick any four number set. eg 3471

3471
8746
2164
5617

Can you identify the sequences from *** above?

When we add the numbers accross we get
3+4+7+1 = 6; 8+7+4+6 = 25 = 7 ; 2+1+6+4 =13 = 4 ; 5+6+1+7 = 19 =1
Thus 6+7+4+1 = 18 = 9

When we add the numbers down we get
3+8+2+5 = 18 = 9 ; 4+7+1+6 = 18 = 9 ; 7+4+6+1 =18 = 9 ; 1+6+4+7 = 18 = 9

This format can be used for any set of numbers (2,3, 5 etc). The only difference is that it will not be matrices anymore. Try and see for yourself.

I would really appreciate some comments on this.
